East Ayrshire is where I grew up, and where my love for folk music began. My Dad would play Joni Mitchell’s “Blue” on the piano and like many, her songwriting had a significant impact on me, setting the tone for what was to come.

Music has been a constant. I played double bass in the East Ayrshire youth orchestra, studied music at University and formed bands with childhood friends, which eventually led to Fatherson. Touring with the band gave me the opportunity to work and learn from various artists and producers, something that I hope to continue.

During the pandemic, I started focusing more on collaborative songwriting. I thrive on the process of helping others develop their ideas and find their voice through music.

My studio is tucked away in Glasgow's East End, just a moment from the legendary Barrowland Ballroom. If you've got a story to tell, or a song in your heart, I'd absolutely love to hear from you.
